Totally true for me, when I really appreciate and take time with my food, feeling grateful, it always seems to do well for me.

It’s great to hear your take on this! I found that learning to listen to my body’s needs that change nearly every day is the best “diet plan” there can be. It invites so much more kindness, tenderness and self-compassion than any other approach could. I’ve also made a point to pause and let the feeling of gratitude float to the surface of my mind before eating, and I, too, found it to make a great difference:)

Do you manage to maintain this approach when eating out with friends or family?

Hi Justyna! Yes I do. When I'm eating out with my friends or family, I always choose with what I want to eat and trust that the food will nourish my body no matter what!!!

I decided today I needed to be more mindful of what I eat. So this was a great read and a different perspective for sure. Kind of gives it a greater purpose now. Thanks! 😊

It is such a fascinating thing to take care of your body and adjust your nutrition based on your rhythms and evolution.

It is a love language to yourself.

I would add that sharing a meal is an absolute fav.

For recommendations, anything Mediterranean with healthy proteins!

Julie, thank you for this text. I believe that you are right about this. Just as there is a thing called mind-muscle connection, there is a thing like mind-food connection. I believe it is a way for the body to tell us that being mindful is the way. Greetings from Vilnius.
